I am pretty ok at making an art piece.

​

I am a trans woman who grew up in Portland Oregon and is afraid to move to another state for that very same reason.

​

I consider myself someone who values an opinion of art over an objective fact of art.  We know its just a Urinal bud...just accept it can be art too.  If someone tells you your art ain't art they are more pretentious than anything you could ever become.

​

I have no confidence because I thought that was all it took to grow an ego, I was wrong, please let me have an ego, please, anything but this.

I made a video where i mess around with pepsi and perform fake vomit, I made a painting or two, I ruined a goodwill portrait or two, I sang a song or two...actually exactly two songs have been sang.  I wanna make a graphic novel but keep starting over, and I wanna make a video game but coding gives me an ulcer.

I misgender myself quite a bit and my friends have to correct me.

The thing that made me want to attempt being an artist was looking at old Dali textbooks of work and Jim Woodring comics.  The thing that made me want to be an artist above anything else was a kid in middle school voicing their underwhelmed emotions surrounding my drawing of a guy running into a wall and dying instantly.
